What if the Lord were to say to you, “As you have believed, so let it be done for you.” what would the Lord be doing for you right now? Would it be a lot of good and wonderful things, since, as you know, God is always good? Hopefully, the things you have been saying about the Lord working in your life and your family are in alignment with His Word! Maybe you would want to take a moment and revise some of what you have been believing God for and confessing over your life or over your family. Now is the time to get before the Lord in faith and with a good confession and ask for Him to perform His Word on your behalf — to do what He said He would do.
Let God be God, don’t try to figure out reasons why He won’t come through for you. Instead, rejoice in His faithfulness and unfailing love for you. Learn a couple of lessons from the faith-filled centurion; don’t expect the Lord to answer your prayers because you are entitled but come humbly before the Lord and ask in faith. Secondly, ask specifically and in accordance with the will of God (which you can always verify with the Word of God – His Word and His will always line up!). Finally, acknowledge God’s absolute authority to do anything just by speaking a word. God gives grace to the humble and He is listening for the one who will call out to Him in faith. As you have believed, so let it be done for you!
