It is possible to try to do some things on your own or look in a different direction for help or guidance on how to live your life or how to deal with certain aspects of your life. The Lord could be right there just waiting for you to turn to Him for help, but you have to do the turning. You have to acknowledge that you have been trying to do things on your own or you have been trying different ways according to the ways of the world or the ways of man instead of God’s ways.
In other words, you do love God and you do know Him and you are seeking to obey His Word, but you find that there are things you have done without Him. You could even feel as if you are obeying the Word of God because you see everyone else living their life in that way, but when you stop and turn to the Lord and begin to seek Him with all of your heart and soul, you realize there are some things that could use tweaking in your life.
Suddenly, you will find that areas of your life that were not seeming to be blessed or prospering will flourish just because you turn to the Lord. He was there all the time, just waiting for you. The Lord sees everything and He knows everything. He knows what you need and He sees those things that are not being done His way. But He also knows your heart and your sincerity. Turn to the Lord right now and be blessed; give Him everything!
